Metanoia is a unique opportunity for young leaders across the global Wesleyan Methodist family to connect with each other and with God in worship, study, training, and encouragement to live more fully as committed disciples of Jesus Christ, to share their faith with boundless love and boldness, and to lead their generation to impact the world with greater courage and integrity.

Pray for Metanoia and our global emerging leadership initiatives. This kind of work can only be done with persisting prayer.
Give generously to enable a global new generation of high-capacity Christian leaders to participate in this life-changing journey.
If you’re between 18-35, we want you to join us at the next Metanoia! Check out our calendar for the next gatherings.
Give us your email address and we'll send you information about upcoming events.
Since 1980, World Methodist Evangelism has empowered young leaders through our International Christian Youth Conferences on Evangelism (ICYCE) – now called Metanoia. Over 6,500 young people from more than 60 countries have been equipped for evangelism.
These transformative experiences have taken place in England (1980), Bahamas (1983), Australia (1987), Mexico (1990), Germany (1994), United States (1998), Northern Ireland (2002), Brazil (2005), Korea (2010), Costa Rica (2018), Brazil (2023), and South Africa (2024).
Metanoia is for young adult leaders, ages 18 to 35, in the Wesleyan Methodist tradition. It includes leaders from any and every network or denomination claiming roots in the Wesleyan movement (Methodist, Free Methodist, Wesleyan, Salvation Army, Holiness, Nazarene, etc).
We believe that Metanoia participants don’t just register to join, they are instead SENT by their local church, conference, network, or denomination. So, participating at Metanoia begins with having a conversation with your sending leader(s).
Metanoia is a unique and exciting multi-cultural, international gathering. Consequently, you should expect to meet other leaders from all over the world. Every day will follow a similar pattern:
Teachers, presenters and preachers are invited from different ministry and cultural backgrounds, focusing on themes such as faith-sharing, discernment of call, cross-cultural mission, Christian leadership, etc.
As a bonus, about half-way through the gathering, participants enjoy a fun excursion day, included as part of the experience.
The registration fee includes room, meals, materials, fun-day activities, and participation in all sessions with speakers from around the world.
Please note that you are responsible for your travel expenses. WME may arrange for transportation between the airport/bus station and the retreat center, but you will be responsible to get to the event’s location.
