Luciano Pereira da Silva

Rev. Luciano Pereira da Silva, 50, is a devoted minister with a lifelong commitment to intercultural mission, discipleship, and church planting. He has been married for 28 years and is the proud father of a 24-year-old daughter.

Ordained in 1996, Rev. Luciano has served in the Brazilian Methodist Church for over two decades. He holds a Licentiate in Theology from the Faculty of Theology of the Methodist Church in São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

In 2011, he was sent as a missionary to support the Evangelical Methodist Church of Peru, where he served as National Director of Discipleship for four years. From 2013 to 2022, he served as Secretary General of CIEMAL (Council of Methodist Churches of Latin America and the Caribbean), leading initiatives focused on church revitalization, disciple-making, and intercultural mission across the region.

Rev. Luciano has traveled to nearly 50 countries, most often to preach and teach. His ministry is marked by a passion for equipping leaders, strengthening the Church, and advancing the Kingdom of God across cultures.

He currently resides in Panama City, Panama, where he founded the Global Methodist Church in Panama and serves as its Conference Superintendent. He was recently appointed Regional Coordinator for Kingdom Advancing within the Global Methodist Church for Latin America and Caribbean.
